Lace It Up

I'm obsessed with thigh high boots and heels; they've got so much attitude and make such a strong statement. These gorgeous heels from Jessica Buurman have some extra details that I just adore: subtle faux snakeskin pattern (these are completely synthetic!), slight sparkle, silver metal hoops down the front holding the laces in place, and a beautiful curvature on the sides of the shoe itself that add another level of visual interest. They're comfortable, super chic, feel very well made, and reasonably priced.

I took my Vlena heels out for a golden hour cocktail in Beverly Hills and found this magical street on the way back to my car with stunning (yet smoggy, from the fires here) view of downtown LA. Palm trees, golden sun, a warm breeze, and a slinky outfit for a cocktail is my idea of a perfect Summer evening.
